From Monday, May 2, Banco Galicia and Brubank SAU customers can buy and sell cryptocurrencies. To do this, you do not need to register a separate wallet, it is enough to have an account on the electronic platform of the financial structure.

On the eve of the introduction of the innovation, Banco Galicia conducted a survey on whether to add support for digital assets. 60% of respondents voted for it.

“The results of the survey prompted us to promote this product. The innovation caused a special stir among young people, ” says Nicolas de Giovanni, head of the company’s innovative products department.

Electronic banking service Brubank SAU also does not want to miss the opportunity to take a leading position in a still little-studied market.

In both cases, the purchase of cryptocurrencies is carried out through proprietary software. Transactions are made through the Lirium service, which is responsible for the technical side of the project.
